Sensors Midwest 2018: first trade show this fall considered a success!

At this year’s Sensors Midwest in Rosemont, IL, joint venture partner ROBIOTIC made its debut to the US market, sharing a booth with Hoffmann + Krippner, Inc.

Sensors Midwest is marketed as “the event for sensors design & industrial IoT” (Source: Questex, LLC).

Hoffmann + Krippner, Inc. was able to showcase standard and custom sensor solutions, including Sensofoil / SensoInk position sensors, LVDT sensors and ultrasonic sensors.

ROBIOTIC introduced their end-to-end IoT services, including IoT-relevant components, guiding traditional manufacturing companies through the 4th industrial revolution.

Florian Schwingenschloegl, Managing Partner at ROBIOTIC, concludes:

“Being relatively new to the US market, Sensor Midwest was the perfect occasion for us not only to showcase our own portfolio of IoT solutions but to listen to the customers and their concerns in regards to digital business models for their own company. We have seen that many visitors were interested in talking about more than just sensor hardware and therefore feel encouraged in the way we position ourselves in the sensor market: end-to-end from sensor data through connectivity to entire business models for our customers.”

Our next show will be the MD&M in Minneapolis on October 31 – November 1, were we will focus on custom input solutions, including membrane switches, membrane potentiometers and touch solutions.
