The Sensors Expo in San Jose, CA was once again a successful show for H+K and ROBIOTIC, finishing the first half of 2019.
After a great show in Rosemont IL at the Sensors Midwest 2018, Hoffmann + Krippner and ROBIOTIC, the IoT division of the HK Group, were represented again with a joint booth at the show in San Jose, CA.
The Sensors Expo has made a name as “the industry’s largest event dedicated to sensors, connectivity, and IoT” (Source: Questex, LLC).
H+K Inc. was able to showcase standard and custom sensor solutions, including Sensofoil / SensoInk position sensors, SensoForce (FSR), printed strain gages, LVDT sensors, ultrasonic sensors and load cells / force sensors.
ROBIOTIC exhibited their end-to-end IoT services, including IoT-relevant components, guiding traditional manufacturing companies through the 4th industrial revolution. Showing an industrial use case at the booth with integrated sensors such as SensoForce by H+K (flexible, printed force sensing resistor), and transmitting the data through the ROSI (The ROBIOTIC-Sensors-Interface) in real time, we were able to visualize alerts, status reports and triggered processes. The video shows how ROBIOTIC covers the complete IoT process chain.
Florian Schwingenschloegl, Managing partner at ROBIOTIC, had the opportunity to share his expertise during a speaker session at the Sensors Theater. He provided insights into what companies should be aware of when kicking-off their IoT project, the DOs and DON’Ts along the way and guidelines to reviewing results for your IoT solution to remain state-of-the-art.
